On 23rd March 2022, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, delivered his Spring Statement to Parliament. Announcing plans for public finances, inflation and driving growth to name just a few.
In this document we have set out the latest proposals and their impact, but also included a reminder of significant measures from the two Budgets in 2021 and other separate announcements. The Spring Statement was mainly about tax cuts, but the October Budget included a number of tax increases. If you would like to discuss what it all means for you, we will be happy to help.
Following this, and to get a summary view of the key tax changes, you can now download the Blue Rocket Accounting Spring Statement 2022 Report for free below!
This report covers the key tax changes outlined in the Chancellor’s speech delivered in parliament and includes tables of the main rates and allowances.
We recommend that you review your financial plans regularly as some aspects of the Budget will not be implemented until later dates. We hope this serves as a useful resource.
